1.             This section facilitates/extends visa services to following SAARC countries including Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan:-

a.                   India

b.                   Sri Lanka

c.                    Bangladesh

d.                   Nepal

e.                   Bhutan

f.                    Maldives

g.                   Afghanistan

h.                   Iran

i.                     Iraq

 

2.             Visa procedures/documents required for different categories are:-

 

a.       Business Visa: Documents required.                           

(1)     Application Forms (1x Original and 5xphotocopies)

(2)     6x Passport size Photographs and 1x photograph (1x1) photograph latest.

(3)     No objection certificate from sponsor.

(4)     Invitation letter from Pakistan

        (either from chamber of commerce or trade license copy of Invitee Company)

(5)     Photocopy of Passport including visa page.

(6)     In case of own business is required to attach photo copy of trade license in lieu of NOC.

Note:-  (If the applicant desires to visit more than one city invitation letter and complete address from such city & sponsor is required.

 

b.       Visit Visa to See Relatives/Friends: Same as above for business visas. However, the couples having one of the spouse Pakistani national, is required to attach photocopy of his/her Pakistani passport and marriage certificate (duly attested from Pakistani Consulate) in lieu of invitation from Pakistan. Children under 12 years of age are too required to attach passport copies of their parents with the application.

 

3.             Visa Processing Time for Indian/Iraqi Nationals: Grant of visa to the above mentioned nationals is subject to the prior approval/clearance from the Ministry of Interior in Pakistan. The process normally takes up to 60 days, however in some cases it may take more time. Therefore, those who desire to visit Pakistan should apply for visa well in advance.

 

4.             Documents Required for nationals other than Indian & Iraqi Nationals:

a.       Application form along with one photocopy.

b.       2x Passport size photographs

c.        No Objection Certificate from sponsor in UAE.

d.       Invitation letter from Pakistani sponsor with his complete postal address in original.

e.       Photocopy of passport.

f.        However, couples having one of the spouse Pakistani national is required to provide/attach photocopy of his/her Pakistani passport and marriage certificate in lieu of invitation from Pakistan. Children of under 12 years age are also required to attach passport copies of their parents alongwith application forms.

g.     For Afghan nationals, Refugees card/attested oath from concerned District Authorities is required.  

 

5.             Visa Processing Time:  After submission of application, duly all requisite documents completed, visa is granted within a week time subject to approval from the competent authorities.

 

6.             General Instructions:  All columns in the application forms are self explanatory, however:-

a.       It must be typed

b.       Incomplete and handwritten forms or missing with any requisite detail, document will be rejected.

c.        Please give complete address (actual) with telephone numbers of Pakistani sponsor and own country, whenever required.

 

Note:    Grant of visa or otherwise is the discretion of Government of Pakistan. If visa is regretted, the fee deposited with the bank will not be refunded. 

 

7.             Timings     Sunday to Thursday:-

a.       Submission.    Applications are received from 0730 hours to 1200 hours.

b.       Delivery of Passports.  After endorsement of visa passports are delivered between 1400 hours to 1500 hours on working days.
