Issuance of Outpass
Any Pakistani national who somehow does not possess a passport to travel back to Pakistan is issued an emergency passport which is known as outpass. This document facilitates one time traveling back to Pakistan. It is issued subject to verification by the Consulate General of Pakistan and subsequently the holder is interviewed at the point of entry at Pakistan. The laws of the land are also taken into consideration to avoid misuse of this document.
Categories to whom out passes are issued.
i. Pakistani nationals who are living illegally in the Northern Emirates of the UAE and do not possess valid traveling documents.
ii. Pakistanis who have irretrievably lost their passports, have no valid visa and are desirous of going back to Pakistan.
iii. Seriously sick Pakistanis who are hospitalized in a government hospital and are either illegal or have lost their valid passport.
iv. Dead bodies of illegal Pakistanis or those whose passport is not available.
Fee
AED 30/-. However fee is waived off for the destitute and penniless applicants especially who are imprisoned or hospitalized.
Procedure
i. An application form is to be filled and signed/thumb-imprisoned by the applicant.
ii. Two recent photographs to be attached with the application.
iii. Proof of his Pakistani nationality to be attached. Two legal Pakistani residents of the UAE to give guarantee that the applicant is a bona fide Pakistani and is not involved in any crime or malpractice in the UAE.
iv. Fulfill the legal requirements of the UAE Government.
