PAKISTAN ASSOCIATION DUBAI
Pakistan Association was
established with the following Aims and Objects by Pakistani Nationals in
Dubai.
- Foster the sprit of mutual
understanding and co-operation; strengthen the ties of fraternity amongst the
Pakistani national and the UAE Nationals as well as other foreigners residing in
the United Arab Emirates.
- Promote cultural and social
contacts and establish literary and cultural organizations and clubs.
- Represent the view of Pakistanis
residing in UAE and bring their problems to the attention of local authorities.
- Look after the welfare of
Pakistani Community.
- Undertake and plan for academic,
Islamic, Social, Commercial cultural institutions or clubs.
- To help Pakistani businessmen and
Professionals in UAE especially in Dubai with a view to solve their problems.

PAKISTAN PROFESSIONAL FORUM
PPF was established in 1987 with
the following aims and objectives:
- To promote professional and
intellectual activities for Pakistanis residing in the UAE.
- To improve and enhance the image
of Pakistan through better communication and understanding with other
nationalities and in particular with UAE nationals.
- To assist officially recognized
Pakistan Association in the UAE in the fulfillment of their objectives.
- To support educational and
charitable cause in general and specially for the benefit of Pakistanis.
- To work for and promote in the UAE
the economic, social and cultural interests of Pakistan and its citizens.
- To enhance and enlarge the scope
of sincere participation of Pakistani Professionals in the economic development
of Dubai in particular, and in the whole of the UAE in general.
- To keep in touch with the
development in Pakistan and to invite prominent Pakistanis in the field of
education, finance, engineering medicine, management and banking or in any other
field which the professional wing of PA may consider appropriate for the purpose
of arranging symposia, seminars and lectures in the UAE.
- To promote and help introduce
Pakistani products in the UAE market.
MEMBERSHIP
- Any citizen of Pakistan of not
less than 21 years of age, who is professionally qualified or otherwise deemed
professional by the executive committee, is eligible for election as per member.
A candidate for election as a Member must be proposed by a member of executive
Committee and seconded by another.
- The Membership fee for a Member is
Dhs 1200-per annum payable in advance.
PAKISTANI BUSINESS COUNCIL
The Pakistani Business Council
was established with a view to bring together Pakistani businessmen in UAE
who have shared objectives in promoting their business activities,
discussing matters of common interest, strengthening fraternal ties and
sharing information of mutual interest such as market economy, rules and
policies, business climate and the like. The Pakistan Business Council
office is located in Dubai at Pakistan Social & Cultural Centre, Zabeel
East, Plot B-46.
All Pakistani Nationals
conducting business in the UAE and holding a valid Pakistani passport and
UAE residence visa are eligible for membership of the Pakistani Business
Council. Pakistanis with the following types of business interests are
eligible to enroll as members :
- Pakistani companies solely owned
by Pakistani National (s).
- Pakistani businessmen who have
partnership in any business concern in UAE.
- Pakistani businessmen who have
partnership in a company with the trade license in the name of a local national.
- Pakistani businessmen who own a
company with the trade license in the name of a local national.
Applications for membership, duly
completed and signed by the applicants, are proposed and seconded by members
of the Business Council and approved by the Chairman and Commercial
Secretary or by the Patron-in-Chief.
